I've had a few drawing tablets. The original WACOM graphire had really excellent fidelity, but gesticulating somewhere remote from where the actual image existed made it feel awkward - especially since I couldn't easily turn the work to draw from a different direction.. Then I got a tablet PC to rectify the remoteness, but its stylus totally lacked in suitable fidelity, which made drawing kind of futile. Then I got a drawing app for the iPad, which resolved the remoteness and fidelity, but then I found that the lack of pressure-sensitivity was difficult to accommodate with my drawing style.

But now I think I've got it close to being right. iPad with retina display, and a pressure-sensitive WACOM stylus. NICE.
