Wow. Just wow.

While the performances didn't exactly align with the original cast soundtrack, they were virtuosic and delightful to hear. What I wasn't fully prepared for was all the dimensions of meaning and description blended in by the choreography and stage direction. It blew my mind. It makes sense, though, considering what a visual person I am.

This play really is a rarified, poignant thing.
