Today my wife and millions of women, and fellow supporters of women, marched in demonstration.

Approximately 1 in 8 humans living in Portland Oregon participated. The main march in Washington DC dwarfed the previous day's inauguration attendance. It was the biggest public demonstration in the history of the United States of America, as marches happened in every major city. It was also the biggest public demonstration in the history of the world, with aligned Women's Marches in major cities around the world.

All to state, with profound collective will, that women's rights are human rights. All done with a central spirit of inclusiveness and acceptance.

I find it tremendously moving. It makes me sort of wish that it would simply continue, and herald in an age of unified global political cooperation.

Except that it can't, sadly. I wonder what kind of fucking idiotic denial of reality the President Of States will react with.
