It's been a month since the final space shuttle flight, and I've spent much of that time trying to think of some way to express just how poignant that is. But really, it's hard to top the homage video made Nature magazine.
When I showed it to Simon a month ago, he said, "More spaceships! More spaceships!" I could only nod tearfully and agree.
I fear my generation will never see their like again.
