2009.03.29 Mt. Redoubt Debris

So, Mount Redoubt in Alaska explodes and a pretty young blonde thing lands on our couch. The wife's more diminutive bridesmaid was at a conference, and found herself stranded in Seattle due to the airline cancelling flights. It's doubly-nice because not only do we get to have a dear friend visiting, but she's also ecstatic about simple pleasures like running water.
It also highlights just how small our apartment is, which causes us to reconsider the wisdom of staying here until the Peanut comes.
On the other hand, I haven't heard from my other friend who lives in Alaska. Anyone seeing a redhead with a cane and a voice that sounds familiar to NPR listeners near Talneeka, let me know how she's doing.
