2009.01.01 Time Goes Fast
Whenever I run across the comparison of what I said I would do versus what I can do - or am likely to actually do - it's never entirely flattering. Mostly, I seem to attribute this to time running out. Options that seemed possible have a way of expiring without sufficient heed being paid to them, like neglected exotic fish.
Somehow, the whole idea tumbled in my brain a bit, and what bounced out was me wondering if The Peanut will be more or less critical of me about this than I will be to myself. Maybe the trick will be to give Peanut an exotic fish, for perspective.
