Rumour has it that jobs might be slashed today at Daimler.
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to face the axe I go.
In my biased estimation, my chances of being axed today seem really quite small. By the same non-objective measures, I think I see a lot of cuts that would actually improve corporate performance.
Unfortunately, my glib manner assumes that the management uses the same biased non-objective measures that I do. And that's clearly not a certain thing.
Addendum
I'm still employed... so far. Lost a contractor, though. And a couple surprising people are gone.
It might be that layoffs are still in progress.
