Are the kids and I shredding extreme gnar? No. But holy shit the zen quiet of the forest with them is pure magic.
And the tedious drive to and from the mountain? Fucking gold. Talking about all kinds of shit, from stupid jokes to political philosophy.
There is no completely satisfying way for me to describe how much I love spending time with these reclusive teenage creatures, and how acutely I feel aware that our shared time is becoming increasingly sparse.
