It was a gorgeous day for a ride at Sandy Ridge. After grinding to the top of Communication Breakdown (and snapping this photo at Poser Point), the ride down was grippy and fast - excellent conditions.
Except for the rock garden where I pitched over the handlebars and smashed face-first into a boulder. Minor abrasions, a mildly sprained thumb, and a ringing head later - I'm perfectly happy to buy a new full-face helmet.
The ride was totally worth it.
