The full, moon squats in the night sky, majestically capping off a week of staycation where I spent the whole time hanging out with Simon. Actually a blue moon, capping off a busy month overall. Simon turned 6, both the wife and I dug into our new jobs, Violet still spends most of her time pretending to be a baby dragon - all exhausting stuff.

It's easy to criticize myself, for all the time I wasted worrying about work, and money, and stuff. And to harshly judge myself for all the moments I lost patience with Simon's 6-year-old-ness. But, really, it has been fantastic.
