The very least I expect from my cable internet is the ability for streaming video. If not, you know, the ability to suck down the video at a rate several times the actual bitrate of the video. But this is just lean Netflix we're talking about here, and an episode lasting 44 minutes. So an anticipated wait time of 70+ minutes...

...well, it sucks.

And, the funny thing is that I wanted to send this screen capture directly to comcast in lieu of 1000 words, but they don't have the ability for customers to send them images. Just text. What's a guy to do other than to load the image up to the intertubes (slowly), and paste them the URL? And, while it's up on the internet anyway, it seems reasonable that one would then make some relevant commentary. Right?

Even funnier: I'm moving soon. Oh, the joy of moving with Comcast. The last time I did it, I had to get a roll of carpet, a shovel, and a big bag of lime. And, for the last time, NO, I don't know what happened to the technician. He just disappeared.

Funniest of all: if the house we're buying is in a region where another high-speed internet provider is available, Comcast is fucking <i>gone</i>.
