	Are personalities like haircuts? Is the obvious perception a styling, an intentionally crafted façade? Personalities, like haircuts, would then be a reflection of popularly held beliefs, and of little individuality to a cursory appraisal. Indeed, then many shifting attitudes and hypocrisies could be easily accounted for as ebbs and flows of social disposition; personalities could be cut, trimmed and styled to fit fashion of the day. Nevertheless, underlying fundamental truths cannot be completely denied. Just as hair style can only be built upon what is already present, so too are personalities only extensions of basic beliefs and perspectives.
